Shing is a thinker, a maker and, above all, a creative.

On top of copywriting, art direction, design and creative direction, his experience includes directing sports documentaries, writing short films, producing original K-Pop music, tinkering with supermarket POS systems, hijacking weather reports, throwing celebrities out of planes, designing experiences, judging award shows, amongst many other odd things.

Strangely enough, kind folks in the industry actually deem some of those odd things worthy of some shiny things. He is very surprised to be recognised by Cannes Lions, The One Show, Spikes Asia, Ad Stars, amongst some other fancy-schmancy award shows — After all, he’s only doing what he enjoys.

Shing is currently the Southeast Asia head of creative at TikTok. In his role, he creates, oversees and ensures all the creative output in the region for TikTok and other ByteDance brands. His goal, ultimately, is to help his team make kick-ass work for one of the world's most culturally-relevant entertainment brands.

Just so you know, Shing talks normally IRL, and rarely describes himself in the third-person.
