IN A WORLD WITHOUT GOOGLE

Google's situation in China is... a little different than everywhere else in the world. With most of the digital product space dominated by Chinese tech, Google wanted to show that it can still play a part in people's lives. Our strategy was to go out to demonstrate Google Translate's usefulness in smart and humorous ways, home or away. On top of short films highlighting the practical uses of the digital product, we also used a real-life example - The story of Chinese Olympic athlete Zhu Ting moving to Turkey.
